HOA Monthly Update

Hello Homeowners,

I wanted to give you all an update of the current working so the HOA. We are working on a few projects that you all should see soon as it relates to landscape lighting irrigation and a few more things.

First, I want to touch on landscape and irrigation the landscape is in the process of a transformation we have sprayed a good deal of weed control and looking to see what we have left as it relates to weeds and hit it with a chemical mixture as well. We have seeding that will happen but only after our first cut and we are confident that all of the weeds are gone that should take place 3/278/19 the day of this message. We also have all of our irrigation tested, and controller boxes purchased they will be installed in about two weeks as well as various head replacements.

The Pool is looking great we had a few windy days that constantly blew leaves etc. into the pool, but it has since been cleaned. We are also looking to update the pool furniture with picnic benches as they will be almost imposable to throw in the pool and damage the plaster. We are also looking to replace teh grills in the pool area with picnic-style grills. We have a few more items that we are waiting for the pool, but for now, they are TBD.

The Playground will have a slight makeover we looked at buying new equipment, but we are not there financially, yet so we are attempting if money permits on adding fresh mulch.

For the summer we will also start looking for volunteers that would like to help with move night at the pool or park depending on lighting and seating. If you are interested, please give me a call.

Landscape lighting is in the bidding process and looking for the best solution for our front entrance as this is the first thing everyone sees and shodul be replaced we have so many lights out that its beginning to be more of a hazard than an inconvenience.

Warnings and notices from first service as of now the board are reviewing any notice that is sent out. The HOA is not in this to make a profit from homeowners, and we are keeping a close eye out on what is being communicated to you all without our approval. We apologize for the last mishap with false-positive violations going out. As soon as the board was aware of what happened, we acted quickly and removed any false positive violations that were sent out. We are also seeking compensation for the 200+ letters that went out without board approval.

We will continue to keep you posted, and if you have any questions comments or concerns, please contact me or any other member of the board.

Comments

  1. Could we get something done about the fence on the corner of Meadowpark..it really makes the area look trashy and run down.

  2. Our common area are almost all weeds. Can't we get some weed killer sprayed and then fertilize the Bermuda.
