Princeton TX Cares - APS

Image
🛑 🚨 🛑 If you haven't already signed the petition, please stop by today to do so! We will be at Smith Elementary at 2101 Forest Meadow Dr from 9:00A to 3:00PM.  🛑 🚨 🛑 We need to get a MINIMUM of 406 VALID signatures on the petition. To be valid, the signer must be registered to vote in the city of Princeton at the time of their signature. (Unfortunately, those that live in the ETJ do not qualify). We are shooting for 600 signatures to be on the safe side and cover us for any accidental invalid signatures. As of 6/29, we are about half way there. If we obtain enough signatures, the petition will be checked by the City Secretary and sent off to the Secretary of the State for final verification. Once verified, they will put it up to vote on the November ballot, where everyone can vote whether they are for or against it. If the law passes, then larger restaurants will begin making plans to build. Realistically, we are looking at about 2 years out. June - Nov is 5 month

Image
Hello Homeowners, We are working on weeding all of the flower beds the construction on the underground water pipe from the city is complete so we will have irrigation running next week. The Front Entrance has been weeded and the remainder flower beds will be wedded as well as the playground. We are still looking at cost-effective options for the HOA to prevent weeds from sprouting so quickly.

Weed Control (Flower Beds Phase 1)

Image
Hello Homeowners, I want to give everyone an update on the weeds that we have in every flower bed. The attempt to move and weed the flower beds have been unsuccessful the terrain is at a point that It needs a soil and weed barrier to prevent the pesky weeds in flower beds. Here is what we are looking at to cover all beds in the HOA Landscaping weed barrier for all 12 beds 3 at the front entrance 3 at Princeton circle 6 inside and outside the pool Materials 20 yards of landscape probed mix for all 12 beds We went out and requested an RFP/Bids to see how much this will cost us to get the materials and labor. This request went out about a day ago and should be back Monday. I will update you all on when that comes in but we are at a point where we have to look at do we pay for more landscape sessions or do we fix the major problem that we have and save money in the long run. Please feel free to Email me or text call or come by to discuss. NOTE: I requested that the beds

Thank you for being patient and understanding while we make sure the Princeton meadows pool is operating at 110%. Also please make sure if your children come to the pool and under the age of 18 they are supervised. We will possibly ban children if carded without an ID badge. This is for the dafty of the children so please be aware that you can be banned if you allow your children to visit the pool without parental supervision.

Pool Closing Update 3

Image
Hello All, Great News we have confirmation that the pool did not have a collapsed line it was two melted gaskets from just being old and summer. We are working on replacing the gaskets on two returns and getting the pools Ph Back to normal. So we need to complete repairs and get the water back to as lovely swimmable safe balance, and we can have the pool open so expect the pol to be public in about 1 to 2 days or less

NO Trespassing

Image
Hello Homeowners, I want to start off by saying Please if you have any child that has friends in surrounding neighborhoods to not illegally jump the pool fence. This issue has started early this year and I only see it getting worse as the temps go up. The big issue and concern here are if someone jumps the fence and gets hurt or someone jumps the fence and we chemically pumped up the pool this can lead to serious medical problems almost immediately or long term. So with that being said anyone jumping the pool when its closed even residence can get a Criminal trespassing charge or 1 to a 2-year ban from the pool. The ban is more geared toward homeowners, but we can issue a CT as well. To note we have had homeowners kids jumping the fence from the last police encounter about 3 weeks ago. So Please ifyou know anyone or see anyone at the pool or jumping the fence you should tell them no or just give us a call but if we come out and the pool is closed or the person is not

Pool Repair Update 1

Image
Hello Homeowners, I want to start off by saying that I apologize for the pool issues that we are having. I know that it's in the heart of the summer and the pool is a great way to keep cool and enjoy family time. I want you all to know that the pool is one of my highest priorities and has been as president of the board of directors of Princeton Meadows. With that being said I want to give an update that you may have already received through the email but users that are not in the email system may not have heard. We are working on getting the pool repairs we have a specialist coming Tuesday morning as an expedited request. The specialist will look and determine where the pool pipe break is. Once the item has been identified we will immediately start work on the pool This may take a few days or a few weeks depending on the issue. This means potential concrete removal to get to pipes as well as underground digging. Or this could be such an easy fix the pool can open th
